Step 1 of 7
Find the wine
Search Cru’s catalogue by name. Every call after this one identifies the wine by its LWIN18, so pick a result to carry it forward.
Step 2 of 7
Read what buyers are bidding
The bids resting on this wine, in the market’s currency and net of Cru’s commission: what a seller would receive. A bid’s own price is what its buyer pays, before commission, so a new bid at the best bid’s figure rests below it.
Needs LWIN18 from step 1, “Find the wine”.
Step 3 of 7
Read what sellers are asking
The offers for this wine, at what a buyer pays. A bid at or above the lowest offer is better spent buying it, and changing a bid to a price above it is refused.
Needs LWIN18 from step 1, “Find the wine”.
Step 4 of 7
Place the bid
A partner key places it at once (201). A connected app gets it back staged (202): confirm it, as the customer would, and the bid is placed then.
Needs LWIN18 from step 1, “Find the wine”.
Step 5 of 7
Check the bid
Your bid as Cru holds it: open quantity, status and when it expires.
Needs Your bid from step 4, “Place the bid”.
Step 6 of 7
Change the price optional
A new price or quantity for the same bid; it runs for 90 days from the change. A partly matched bid cannot be changed.
Needs Your bid from step 4, “Place the bid”.
Step 7 of 7
Cancel the bid optional
Takes the bid off the market. As a connected app this is staged too.
Needs Your bid from step 4, “Place the bid”.
