How authentication works

Cru issues partners a CLIENT-KEY and CLIENT-SECRET, sent as headers on every request. There is no token to fetch first. Writes run at once and carry a reference the playground generates.

Request

Prepares a change to the price, quantity, local_only or auto_transfer of one of the customer's live bids (code from list_my_bids); whatever is omitted stays as it is. Documentation ↗

Carried out straight away, with no confirmation step. Sending the same reference again returns the first result, so each send gets a new one. You will be asked to confirm before it is sent.

Arguments

The bid's code, from list_my_bids.

New price per unit, in the market currency, as list_my_bids quotes it. Omit to keep it.

Only accept stock already on this Cru site. Omit to keep it.

Transfer the wine to the customer's storage on this site when the bid fills. Omit to keep it.

API credentials

Enter the client key and secret issued by Cru. They are kept for this browser tab’s session — a reload keeps them, closing the tab or clearing them ends them.

Credentials are never included in copied examples, and are redacted from anything the console prints back.
